Wingbowl: Humanity at it's finest

I hope anyone reading this catches my sarcasm.... I had to cover the annual stripper-parade/eating competition that is the Wingbowl on Friday morning. Thousands of (mostly) men stay up all night or wake up at the crack of dawn to watch the event, which started at 6 AM. The actual eating competition took less than an hour, and for most of the event, the audience (and participants) mostly watched the jumbotron to see what was happening. Here are a few images that show some of the misogyny, spectacle, and of course, eating an unholy amount of wings. Thanks for looking!

Venezuela lost and found

I've been digging through my images from Venezuela as I prepare my mini-books, and I found a few interesting shots that I had previously overlooked. These are some slightly surreal moments from my brief time in the slum of Petare.

Raindrop Regression

Here's a fun image I grabbed today between assignments for Metro. I had forgotten that raindrops become little convex lenses. Enjoy!
